What a browser fingerprint actually is

A fingerprint is the bundle of small technical details your browser exposes to every site you visit. None of them identify you on their own, but together they’re remarkably unique:

FAQ

Do I need GoLogin if I only run one LinkedIn profile?

It’s less critical with a single profile, but still useful, because a consistent, geo-aligned fingerprint paired with a dedicated IP looks more like a stable real user than your everyday browser does. The bigger payoff comes the moment you run more than one account.

Can I use incognito mode or separate Chrome profiles instead?

No. Incognito clears cookies but keeps the same canvas, WebGL, fonts, and hardware signatures — the fingerprint is identical. Chrome’s built-in profiles share the same underlying browser fingerprint too. You need true fingerprint isolation, which is what an anti-detect browser provides.

Will a fingerprint that changes each login keep me safer?
